Dionne is a dedicated actress, playwright, and teaching artist with nearly a decade of experience in education and the performing arts. A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Acting, Dionne has honed her craft both on stage and in the classroom.
Beginning her acting career in New York City, Dionne showcased her talent in multiple Off-Broadway productions, immersing herself in the vibrant theatrical community. Her passion for performance is matched by her commitment to education, having taught students across a diverse range of settings, including Mississippi, Atlanta, New York City, and Los Angeles.
Dionne’s teaching experience spans preschool to high school, encompassing special education and theatre arts, where she inspires young minds to explore their creativity.
During her graduate studies, Dionne discovered a deep love for teaching theatre arts, leading her to work with local students in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). She believes in the transformative power of the arts and strives to foster a supportive environment where students can express themselves and build confidence.
In addition to her acting and teaching, Dionne is an emerging playwright, eager to share her unique voice and stories with the world. With a rich background in performance and a passion for education, she continues to make a significant impact on both the stage and in her students’ lives, nurturing the next generation of artists.
